Course Description:
Learn how to better prepare code compliant construction documents

Learning Objectives:­ ­

  • Be able to understand the need and necessity to provide Construction Document information relative to the design of a building or interior for submission for a building permit;
  • Be able to discern the important information that must be a part of the Construction Documents in order to expedite the review process;
  • Explain to a plan reviewer in a concise manner, both visually and verbally, the design parameters affected by the building code
  • Be able to use the information contained in this class as a marketing tool for owners and builders in the ability to produce the plans so that plan review time is minimized.
