ARE 4.0 Preparation Workshops
The Institute for Design and Construction will offer Architect Registration Exam preparation workshops for each of the seven exam sections throughout the year. The workshops are designed to give you an overview of how to study for the exam within each section including an overview of sample questions with discussions about each answer. Since each of the exams now has a graphic component, graphics will be covered in each workshop for that particular exam. For more information on the ARE and test dates please visit the NCARB website.
Special rates for these workshops are offered to FAU Architecture Alumni and AIA Associate Members. If you fall in one of these categories, please do not register for any workshop online, call the Registration Coordinator at 954.762.5173.
Building Design and Construction Systems
This workshop will cover topics on design principles, codes and regulations, environmental issues, materials and technology, and project and practice management. For the graphics portion of the workshop an accessibility/ramp vignette, a stair design vignette, and a roof plan vignette will be reviewed.
