The American Institute of Architects, Fort Lauderdale Chapter invites you to join us

 

for an informal “getting to know your Legislator” event. We are

 

excited to announce that we will be hosting Florida House of Representative

 

GWYNDOLEN CLARK-REED (D) as well as Florida House of Representative

 

Hazelle P. Rogers (D).  Some of the issues we will be discussing are the

 

latest legislative steps taken on stimulating the economy and particularly the

 

provisions affecting the design and construction industry.  In addition we would like

 

to learn their opinions on sustainable development particularly as it concerns the

 

enforcement of energy efficiency in buildings, infrastructure issues, and the

 

development of public transportation among other important issues.

 

This 1 HSW Continuing Education credit will be offered free to our membership on Wednesday, February 24 at 6:00pm.  This event will be held at The City of Plantation located at 401 Northwest 70th Terrace, Plantation, FL 33317.
