The AIA Florida/Caribbean Design & Honor Awards program aims to encourage excellence in architecture, elevate the public awareness of good design and recognize those architects whose work enriches our communities and architecture at large.

ACCOLADES & RECOGNITION

Award winners are honored during the annual convention at the AIA Florida/Caribbean Design & Honor Awards Reception & Presentation featuring dedicated videos for each award. This year's celebration will be at The Breakers Palm Beach on July 11. The Fall issue of Florida/Caribbean Architect magazine will feature each winner and project. Winners are announced to major Florida media markets and on all AIA Florida media channels. Design Award project boards remain on display throughout the year at the AIA Florida headquarters in downtown Tallahassee.

2020 Design Awards Jury | Paris, France


In the continued pursuit of distinguishing exceptional design, President of the Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) and Past President of AIA, Thomas Vonier, FAIA, RIBA, has assembled an esteemed Paris-based design awards jury. Their expansive knowledge of architectural design will ensure the integrity of the jury process at the highest level. The 2020 design awards jury will meet in April 2020 in Paris, France.­­Three levels of awards may be given in each of the design award categories: Honor, Merit and Citation, of which Honor is the highest distinction.
