 This course presents common concepts and requirements of law which architects must deal and comply with every day in their practices.
 DescriptionLearn the basic concepts, using real examples and case studies which showcase how easy it is to run afoul of the requirements. Gain a practical and real world perspective on how these sometimes antiquated requirements work in real practice today. The course includes a brief overview of the Board of Architecture and Interior Design’s disciplinary process, what to expect and how or whether to respond. Objective•Gain a better understanding of the relationships between ethical behavior, the expected standard of care and the rules of practice and how they interact in daily practices.•Understand the concept of responsible supervisory control in modern practice, everyday situations.
 •Be able to identify and avoid potential practice act violations.
 •Understand the disciplinary process for Florida architects.
