Understanding Notice of Acceptance (NOAs)-DL16NOA

Description: Review a real world notice of acceptance. Learn the main components of an NOA, how to read it properly, what to look for, and understand the approved installation of the products.


• Review the State Requirements and protocols for NOA/Product Approval and understand the main components and main differences between a Miami-Dade NOA and a FBC Product Approval.

•Review size, design pressure, hardware, and other charts commonly found on NOA's as well as getting to understand the bill of materials and die drawings.

• Identify installation and anchor restrictions.

• Review what parts of the NOA should be highlighted to assist the Building Official when applying for permit documents.
