Disaster Resource Center

Have A Plan

• Prepare a checklist of items you will need, process for evacuation
• Have a plan for your family and business. Make sure to practice the plan so everyone knows it.
• Develop phone trees for staff

Collect Materials & Resources

• Contact information of employees, family & local and state emergency groups (See Sample)
• Have a Rubbermaid container ready with food supplies, water, flashlights, first-aid kit, clothing/bedding, etc.
• Download and print the Disaster Assessment Handbook
• Download and print the Disaster Assessment Worksheet
• Know the Good Samaritan Act for Florida

Get Ready to Assist

• Send your contact information to AIA Florida
• Keep the 3-part assessment forms safe
• Register with the Disaster Contractors Network
• Check your email and your messages for information from AIA Florida if you are in an unaffected area.
• Visit the home page for posted information.
