Impressive Initial Contact: How To Stand Out and Be Remembered June 23, 2010, 6:00pm Jay Forte, Humanetrics LLC
Program Overview: We live and work in the age of blur. We are constantly so overwhelmed with dates, people, events and facts that, at the end of the day, we rarely remember the details of the day. Worse yet, other rarely remember us. And this is dangerous for our businesses.
What is needed is your ‘IIC’ – your Impressive Initial Contact. Your powerful first contact – how to network and connect with potential clients effectively, impressively and immediately – is critical to standing out, being remember and growing your business.
Learning Objectives: 1. Understand what activates our brain to remember some things and not others. 2. Understand that our strongest and most memorable connection with others is a shared emotional connection. 3. Be introduced to a new way to present yourself in networking and new client environments using the “Why, How, What” approach. 4. Practice, practice, practice.
This is a hands-on program, designed to help you improve the impact of your initial contact with clients, potential clients and with others who can refer clients. Initial contact matters. How impressive is yours?
