Description - Richard Daniels with DK Attorneys at Law will review indemnity clauses which have appeared in various contracts and discuss the implications to the Architect including the legal aspects as related to current statute and recent court decisions regarding these various indemnity clauses. Information will be provided to the architect that will allow them to compare various indemnity clauses and modify these clauses in a manner which will reduce their exposure to any potential future legal claims. Mr. Daniels’ lecture will cover the health, safety and welfare subject areas including: Legislative acts; AIA standard documents; and legal aspects of contract law.”
