"An Architect’s Role in Defining Urban Space"  Lecture and Presentation from Bernard Zyscovich, FAIA

Please join us on Tuesday evening, October 5th at the Orlando Museum of Art for a lecture by Bernard Zyscovich, FAIA with Zyscovich Architects. The event will begin with a social at 6 pm and the lecture will start at 7 pm. 

Real Urbanismsm  is a planning and urban design methodology that is based on unique and authentic characteristics of a place.  Architects should be leaders in the evolution of places and communities by providing expertise and professional services.  This program will discuss the process and the opportunities of creating urban design as a part of the architectural practice.

In describing his urban design philosophy, Bernard has said, “Real Urbanismsm proposes a method for creating flourishing places, using principles based on the discovery and applications of their fundamental characteristics. The process encourages creativity and exploration; its rewards are livable and exciting cities.”
