Description:
Join us for a whole day introductory BIM workshop at Broward College in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Learn fundamental Building Information Model concepts, how to work in a Virtual Building environment and how to use ArchiCAD's 3D Design and 2D Documentation tools. After this class, you will understand the concepts and benefits of BIM, know how to use the BIM tools for visualizations, drawings and schedules, and how to create BIM models compatible with your consultants CAD and BIM software. This course is appropriate for anyone considering BIM or for introductory and intermediate users of ArchiCAD.
ArchiCAD is installed on the lab computers already, or participants can bring their own laptops or computers and have ArchiCAD 15 preinstalled.
