This course offers an overview of architectural acoustics, using appropriate terminology and basic examples, so that participants can address common design and remedial issues; sound isolation (airborne & structure-borne); HVAC noise control (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system); finish treatments (primarily sound-absorption in this short course); implementation of quality acoustical environments.
