This course is designed for professional designers who want to better understand the importance of proactive mitigation strategies in building and renovation projects.

Description

By focusing on impact protection and other fenestration options, participants will gain valuable insights into how to enhance safety, meet code requirements, and improve overall project outcomes.

•To describe the general advantages of proactive mitigation and reasons for opening protection.
•Educate how impact-rated glass is manufactured along with its benefits.
•Discuss the fenestration protection options within the code.
•Explain certain myths and facts that the general public has related to impact protection methods.
