Each year, when AIA Florida members talk to legislators at the Capitol, members offer a leave-behind blueprint highlighting AIA Florida’s legislative goals. As AIA Florida gears up for the 2020 Legislative Session, we invite you to design this year’s blueprint!
AIA Florida is hosting a design contest, and the winner’s artwork will be featured on a 36 x 24-inch blueprint often displayed in legislative offices for years to come reminding all visitors of the impact of architects.
WHO CAN SUBMIT?
AIA Florida members and Florida architecture students.
Your image should be easy to scale to 36″ x 24″ (or 7500 x 5000 px) and landscape orientation. We will not use your image if we must crop out a major part of your work or if details are too small to see at this scale.
The resolution should be 300 dpi or higher.Dpi determines the sharpness of a graphic when it’s printed. If the image appears fuzzy or pixelated it likely won’t print clearly enough for a poster.
Submit your artwork as a high-resolution JPEG, PNG or EPS file. Submit your image file to AIA Florida’s Hightail page HERE and include your name, email and note that it is for the 2020 Legislative Day Design Contest.
