Students are back in studio and the University of Miami School of Architecture begins its spring lecture series next week with Adriaan Geuze, principal at the Dutch firm West 8.  Adriaan is best known locally as the landscape architect for Lincoln Park an outdoor concert venue at the entrance to the New World Symphony Gehry Building on Lincoln Road South Beach.

Adriaan Geuze established West 8 in 1987. The firm has developed a technique of relating contemporary culture, urban identity, architecture, public space and engineering within one design, always taking the context into account. Adriaan Geuze has extensive experience in directing Dutch and international teams on projects all over the world. Internationally respected as a professor in Architecture and Urban Design, Geuze frequently lectures and teaches at universities worldwide.
